Awol Erizku (b. 1988, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) has exhibited at institutions across the country including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Studio Museum, Harlem, New York; the Crystal Bridges Museum of Art, Bentonville, AR; the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Toronto, among others. In addition to Night Gallery, he has had recent solo exhibitions at the FLAG Art Foundation, New York, NY; Ben Brown Fine Arts, London and Hong Kong; STEMS Gallery, Brussels; and Duchamp Detox Clinic, a nomadic exhibition venue by the artist. In 2021, his public solo exhibition New Visions for Iris, presented by the Public Art Fund, appeared across bus terminals in New York and Chicago. Erizku lives and works in Los Angeles.
