Jesse Mockrin (b. 1981, Silver Spring, MD) has had solo exhibitions at Night Gallery, Los Angeles; James Cohan, New York; the Center of International Contemporary Art of Vancouver, Canada and Galerie Perrotin, Seoul. She has been featured in group shows at the Dallas Museum of Art, Texas; The Bunker, West Palm Beach; the Rubell Museum, Washington, DC; SPURS Gallery, Beijing; among others. Her work belongs in the permanent collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, CA; Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), CA; Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, CA; Santa Barbara Museum of Art, CA; Art Institute of Chicago, IL; Dallas Museum of Art, TX; Rubell Collection, Miami; Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto, Canada and many others. Mockrin's work has been covered extensively, appearing in publications including the New York Times, The New Yorker, Vogue, Artforum, Forbes, T Magazine, Modern Painters, and Art Agenda. Her work was included in the 16th Lyon Biennale of Contemporary Art in 2022. Mockrin lives and works in Philadelphia.
